Dementia is something widely experienced by aging people. I was inspired to help dementia people because of my relative. Seeing her suffer that she cannot live independently because she could not go anywhere by herself. She had to bring someone along but if she did go she would lost her was back home and get scared and do not know what to do.
People with dementia usually forget thing so when they go out they might forget their way back home
People with dementia forgets their way and will get panic so might forget who to call
when a person with dementia gets lost and never call their relative, The relatives do get worried and will need to find them
Sensor activates when user leaves the door
Every 1hr, relative of the user will be notified where they are and able to give them a call
if they are lost the relative can activate a red flashing circle on the microbit to indicate that dementia user needs help. If anyone sees the flashing red circle, they can refer to the card on what it means and assist the user
emergency red flashing circle can be activated by user from emergency stressball and deactivated by relative
if relative calls and user is ok, green light remains
