In todays job environment,computers are a necessary part of the job.However,the visually impaired usually face problems as they have difficulty seeing the letters on the keys of the keyboard.
The "Soundboard" reads out the word keyed in by the user and notifies the user if there is a certain spelling mistake made. This enables them to be assured that they have typed in the correct words and also allows them to perform tasks like anyone else.
The "Soundboard" reads out the word that was typed everytime the user hits a punctuation key or the space bar.It has a built in dictionary that is able to identify words and alert the user if the word they typed does not exist in the dictionary.
This product will be effective in helping the visually impaired as it enables them to express themselves without having troubles seeing the letters on their keyboard. It also helps them to find jobs, most of which require working with computers. Hence, this keyboard wil be an advantage towards the visually impaired and is able to help them in their lives.
